Sweden in Haiku

1.
Men wear pink, blue, white
button-down dress shirts, and for
business, wear black.

2.
Women’s fashion is
black skirt, black shirt and fur hat
and sport tall black boots

3.
People:

a.
They are in good shape;
often walk near sea and woods.
They have open minds.

b.
Well-educated
with impeccable English.
Lots of blond people.

c.
Talk less politics
than the Dutch, though just as in-
formed about world affairs.

4. Food:

a.
Black bread sandwiches:
salami, salmon or shrimp
with lovely cream-sauce.

b.
Delectable small
Swedish meatballs. Pastries with
sugar and berries.

C.
Pancakes with whipped cream
and berries (for breakfast, lunch
or a good dinner.)

5. Country:

Huge for the number
living there. Looks like a Christ-
mas snow globe with firs.

Best Scenes:

8: 00 am: Heaps of bread in the bakery
1:00 pm: Light gleaming off ships and chunks of ice floating in the sea
4:00 pm: Standing on a bridge, watching the sun set behind the island of the old city
9:00 pm: Stockholm city lights
